Curriculum


  • Infant Curriculum: 6 weeks-18 months

    • Follow rattle with eyes
    • Reach for rattle
    • Build neck/back muscles with tummy time
    • Roll from front to back, and back to front
    • Read books with a teacher
    • Do some basic motions to common songs
    • Sit up, crawl, pull in to a standing position, stand with no help, walk, and climb
    • Push trucks/ride-on toys
    • Mimic facial expressions
    • Practice using a spoon
    • Paint with a paintbrush
    • Recognize the difference between gentle and hurtful touches
    • Play Peek-a-Boo
    • Find a toy that is put behind someone‚Äôs back when the child is watching
    • Wooden puzzles
    • Recognize and use basic sign language
    • Begin to use some small words
    • Point to friends, teachers, or themselves when asked where a certain person is
    • Enhance vocabulary through identification and repetition
    • Build block towers 2 to 3 block high
  • Toddler Curriculum: 18 months-3 years

    • Point to friends, teachers, or themselves when asked where a certain person is
    • Follow 2 to 3 step directions
    • Use sign language and words together
    • Wash hands with a little help
    • Use utensils when eating
    • Pour juice with help
    • Sit at the table for snacks/meals
    • Use family serving style during meals, allowing them scoop out their food with help
    • Hand out napkins/cups for snacks/meals
    • Turn one page of a book at a time
    • Learn colors and shapes and how to pronounce them
    • Match colors and shapes
    • Learn first and last names
    • Navigate up and down stairs with some help
    • Use feet on the ground to push themselves on a ride-on-toy
    • Enhance vocabulary through identification and repetition
    • Build block towers 5 blocks high
    • Solve problems with peers on their own with a little bit of guidance
  • Pre-K Curriculum - Ages 3-4 Years

    • Trace dots that spell their name
    • Solve problems with peers on their own with little to no help
    • Learn healthy habits VS unhealthy habits and how to incorporate them in their everyday lives
    • Wash hands and use the toilet with little to no help
    • Recite first, middle, and last names
    • Know how to spell their names
    • Identify their own feelings and the feelings of others around them
    • Hand out napkins/cups at snack/meal times
    • Use family serving style at meals and allow children to assist in dishing out their own food
    • Put on their own clothes/coats and zip with little to no help
  • Pre-K Curriculum - Ages 4-5 Years

    • Write their names
    • Learn address and phone number
    • Identify their own feelings and the feelings of others around them
    • Identify letter sounds
    • Identify lower case and upper case letters
    • Hand out napkins/cups at snack/meal times
    • Use family serving style at meals and allow the children to dish out their own food so they learn portion sizes
    • Pour their own drinks
    • Use pedals to ride a bike
    • Build block towers at least 6 blocks high
    • Wash their hands and use the toilet with no help
    • Dress and zip their own clothes/coats
  • School-Age Curriculum - Ages 5-12 Years

    • Read theme-related books independently and out loud in a group
    • Find out how/why something happens
    • Solve problems with their peers on their own with little to no help
    • Create games together that incorporate the whole group
    • Play board games
    • Do puzzles
    • Participate in different physical activities
